Shel Silverstein Spred His Colours "In Hot Dog Poem"

Shel Silverstein was born in 25 September, 1930 and dieed in 10 May, 1999. Shel Silverstein was an American poet, cartoonist, singer-songwriter, musician, composer, screenwriter and author of children's books.

Apparently the sidewalk is not yet over for Shel Silverstein bibliography.
Today marks the release of a new edition of the unpublished poems and illustrations of the poet of the child, who died 12 years ago.
The collection is called "all over it," after a poem in the collection of a fully loaded hot dog.

EVERY THING ON IT
I asked for a hot dog
With everything on it
And that was my big mistake,
'Cause it came with a parrot,
A bee in a bonnet,
A wristwatch, a wrench, and a rake.
It came with a goldfish,
A flag, and a fiddle,
A frog, and a front porch swing,
And a mouse in a mask—
That's the last time I ask
For a hot dog with everything.

But the Frankfurter holder is not the only food mentioned in the volume.
NPR listeners gave a preview of "All about the subject," an accompanying poem, "Italian cuisine", the delicious pasta and pasta, and anti-sounding name back.
It begins: "Oh, how I love Italian food / I eat all the time .." Read all at the end of the NPR article.
