LSU Tigers Football Coach Les Miles said winning streak vs. Mississippi State means is nothing

The LSU Tigers football team represents Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA NCAA Division I FBS college football. Current head coach Miles has guided the team since 2005. Since 1999, when Nick Saban took as head coach of the Tigers were always in the top ten of the team.

But LSU Coach Miles said that the band does not matter, as his team prepares for the Bulldogs in Starkville to play Thursday night.

"I know we play a quality opponent every year," Miles said at the SEC coaches teleconference on Wednesday. "A year does not lead to the next.
It is a completely new challenge and new group of young men. This is a quality coaching staff has compiled Coach Mullen. We do not make much out of it.
"Our guys do not remember back 11 years. You do not know what the possibility is just that. You know, watching movies, how to prepare the quality of opponents.
Mississippi State last defeated LSU in 1999. The Bulldogs scored a touchdown in the controversial fourth late in the game to win 17-16. Prior to 1991, was a victory, 28-19, in Tiger Stadium in the first season, Curley Hallman at LSU. Hallman liquidation is 3-1 vs. the State.

This season, LSU is just around the team that leads the state of Mississippi of the SEC with 321 rushing yards per game.

"You have to do a good job with the run and pass, great balance," said Miles.
"The quarterback is a little more aggressive, running the Oregon style of attack. The piece makes a huge difference in attack the state of Mississippi.
